With non-salon products, or the stuff you fine at the local drug store should the normal medium dark/grey hair woman bleach their hair prior to coloring? If the same woman chooses NOT to bleach, what are the steps for the woman choosing to use ultra light natural blonde and wanting to use dark ash blonde as the alternate color for a weave effect? Or do all one color, wait, then do the rest? Or can one color be used as another is s sectioned off with aluminum foil then use a different color at the same time for a highlight effect.?

Hi Richard, normally, you don't need to bleach the hair prior to coloring with non-salon products. Each product has a notice inside for any concern. I would recomand to use professionnal product to get the best of the result. There a so many different way to procede. The most important thing is to define exactly what the customer wants. Could you please be more precise about the result and the actual customer's hair. Send me some picture of the customer's hair and what she wish. I could advise you better ;-)
